  1. J)oin: The "J" command provides you passage from the Main Menu or 
  2. Message System to the Conference System.  
  3.  
  4. You will be presented with a list of conferences after you deliver the 
  5. "J" command. Five commands are available when you enter the Conference 
  6. System: J)oin, L)ist, M)ain, Q)uit, and X)pert.  
  7.  
  8. Tips: 
  9. 1. RBBS-PC offers both public and private teleconferencing capabilities.  
  10. Any caller who has been assigned a sufficiently high security level can 
  11. join a public conference. Only a predetermined group of users, usually 
  12. designated by a conference leader, can participate in a private 
  13. conference.

  15. 2. You can go directly from the Main Menu into a conference by entering 
  16. "J;" and the conference name. For example, you could enter the "TECH" 
  17. conference with the following command:  "J;TECH".  
  18.  
  19. 3. You will not see a list of available conferences if you enter the 
  20. Conference System while in the Expert Mode.  Enter an "L" or switch to 
  21. novice mode by entering an "X" to get the conference list.  
  22.  
  23. 4. You can perform a valuable service by using the comment or message 
  24. functions to suggest teleconference topics to the SYSOP.
